When talking about irregular settlements, comes to head the idea of throwing away its inhabitants, since they are founded on areas destined to other uses, such as ecological preservation.

It is only through a detailed study that the causes are comprehended and solution to the problem is intented, not by throwing away their inhabitants, but by giving them the elements that will allow diminishing the impact of cities' growth and by generating activities that help them obtain satisfactors.

It is necessary to reactivate the economy of the zone in an efficient way to improve the economical level of its inhabitants so they can take the impulse of the growth from the nearby residential zones.

The impulse to the secondary sector (industry) might support the transformation of the primary agriculture production, in the wood industry for construction, wich will generate jobs and an important economical activity for its inhabitants.

We most teach people how to use resources and protect its habitat, through the use of alternative systems that, besides preserving the environment, reduce in many cases the maintenance cost.

Although one project alone can not solve the problematic of this zone, taking several activities in one complex allows us to embrace an important part of the problematic and to give an affordable solution to remediate, in the means of our possibilities as architects, the urban development at the settlements on ecological preservation zones, by using alternative systems.
